PROTOTYPE FIRM TAKES DELIVERY ON 19TH LASER SYSTEM

NTC America Laser Group has announced the sale and delivery of an additional laser processing systems to its leading user of NTC laser equipment in North America, 3-Dimensional Services of Rochester Hills, MI. The firm, specializing in the design, engineering and build of rapid prototype parts including fabrications and assemblies has added a TLM model 5-axis laser systems to its stable of equipment, bringing the total number of lasers in use to 19. The NTC Laser Group reports that as being the largest number of units in use in North America by a single customer and represents an investment now surpassing $11 million in the laser processing technology.

Besides the 14 TLM Series units, the other systems are 3-axis models, including two ultra high speed TLZ Series laser, two TLV Series systems, and one TLN Series.

3-Dimensional Services uses the lasers to cut sheet metal and plate for prototype fabrications from a variety of customers and from a diverse range of industries. The NTC lasers offer a level of operational agility and ease of use, including PC-style controller and Windows(tm)-based operating system, that makes frequent changeovers and low volume runs in the prototype environment efficient.

The TLM Series lasers are bridge-style, high-accuracy machines ideal for cutting and trimming pre-formed components of all shapes and contours, from basic outlines to the most complex of forms.
