LASER SYSTEMS FIRM HOSTS TECHNOLOGY EXCHANGE 06-04-04 NTC America-Laser Group, recently hosted a two-day technology open house and seminar at the firm's Farmington Hills, MI headquarters. Among the over 60 participants and guests were vendors and suppliers, finance partners and software developers, members of the company's dealer/distributor network, plus potential clients as well as current machine users. The event was organized to promote a technology dialog and exchange of application information between attendees-suppliers gave presentations highlighting their various components and specialties-while current laser users discussed operational features and functions. In addition, all visitors viewed demonstrations of the latest machine advancements available from NTC America-Laser Group. Among the technologies showcased was the TLM series of 5-axis lasers featuring NTC's specially developed 5-axis program code generation processing for simple set ups, and cutting feed rates of up to 30,000mm/min. Also exhibited was an example of the TLZ 3-axis series that incorporate dual-pallet changer mechanism, flying optics, and a feed rate of up to 40,000mm/min. and rapid traverse of up to 100,000mm/min for exceptional productivity.
